For the administration of our bookings, we use the software Beds24 from MPK Systems Ltd. Your bookings, via our website, are also processed via the servers of MPK Systems Ltd. Beds24 is a cloud-based property management system with an integrated online booking system and channel manager that uses secure SSL technology. It is certified by all relevant booking portals worldwide and is used by customers in over 90 countries on all continents. If you book accommodation with us, we also need your credit card details to process the booking. For this, we work together with one of the leading providers of credit card payments, Concardis GmbH. Who has access to your data with us? Who is the data protection officer?

We attach great importance to the protection of your data. In accordance with German and European data protection laws, we take appropriate measures to ensure the protection of your personal data against misuse and unauthorised access. For example, employees only have access to the personal data that they need to fulfil their tasks. Sensitive data related to your booking can only be viewed by employees at the reception desk and by management. Of course, access is secured in accordance with the requirements of efficient data protection. All employees have also signed a confidentiality agreement.

The legislator sets strict requirements as to when a data protection officer must be appointed. Accordingly, the appointment of a specific data protection officer is not necessary for our company. Nevertheless, ensuring that all necessary measures to safeguard fyour data are adhered to, is incumbent on us as management. This shows how important the security of your data is to us. 

 

We would like to point out that in certain cases, e.g. when communicating by e-mail, data transmission on the Internet can have general security gaps for which we are not responsible.
